Unnamed Verdikan Island WIP II

Description

Here is the next step in what will eventually be a completed island off the western coast of Verdok. The title should make it obvious that I haven't given the island as a whole a name yet, so I'm open to suggestions if you think you have a name I'd like. I do have several cities already on this island. They won't be shown until the terrain is completed, though.

So, the updates since the last WIP include the addition of trees all over the places, mostly covering up the bumpier areas of the island and border the top of the lake and some of the river. I also stretched the green areas in the upper region a lot closer to the coastline. I may decide to add a volcano in that area, though. Not likely, but still in the air at the moment. Then I added a little waterier color around the lake. Finally, I added snow add a less green terrain to the summit of the higher mountain ranges as well as adding some beaches to the western peninsula (but they will be deleted by next time and added later when I reshape the coastline to make it more natural).

So that's it for now. I'll be updating two or three more times before I get the finished product all updated and stuff. All old WIPs will be moved to scraps so my gallery won't be so cluttered.

as for the name, you should name it the word silhouette in another language, because the island looks like the profile of a guy looking right and down XD. As far as the terrain goes, you should consider more rivers and creeks. Also if you want to do something really cool, get blender (or 3d modeling software of choice), convert this to grayscale without the trees, and set it to a bump map. Then you'll have your terrain in 3d! And finally you can actually just edit this deviation instead of uploading new WIP's. That way you'll only have one piece in your gallery and you can set it so that watchers will be notified with changes.
